The multiplayer for inversion on PC is dead. i tried for about an hour to find enough people and it wasn't happening. I am going to try an hour or two of Spec Ops mp today and update the playlist if the mp is good enough. Free DLC is also supposed to be coming for spec ops ill look into that. And as far as all zombies must die is concerned i'm done with that shit. I know its an Indie game but there is no excuse for the shit they put you through near the end.

I am playing some Chivalry Medieval Warfare on pc. I'ts pretty fucking fun man. some Singleplayer vids are uploading now. pt1 is my failed tutorial mode footage and then i did some matches with bots. and i have a bunch of online parts to upload later. And unless something stupid happens I will be playing this game in bits and pieces for an extended period of time.

I completed every mission without using cheats on the ps2 version of the game and had a blast! raped a lot of the harder missions on first try and bombed a couple of the super simple ones for some reason.

i started off story mode on easy mode but switched to war mage after the tutorial. completed story mode, did a fuckload of endless mode, i am still doing classic mode and weekly challenges and have yet to do dlc but i will soon. great game TONS of content!

I also finished story mode of The Darkness 2 on PC. Both endings... I will say this 2 was way better than 1 but it still had some problems. Good thing they didnt really affect the gameplay they were just goofy.

my bro came over and we got shitfaced and played call of duty black ops 2 on 360 for a few hours. i played some solo local mp and some zombies because i dont have gold. and my bro played some zombies and a local mp game and then we remembered he has gold so we signed into his account and went online. hilarity ensued as he played a few matches.

just an update on other stuff im working on, im currently playing all zombies must die, foreign legion buckets of blood/multi massacre, orcs must die 2(did some endless and almost done with story mode will do way more), and im working on the darkness 2 and loving it! its way better than the first one

MORTAL KOMBAT

I am now uploading 101 vids of mk9 footage with even more to come. I am not a tournament worthy player but i have played all but maybe 2 mortal kombat games(armageddon and the one before i think) and i have beaten all of the games i played. Even did some higher difficulty ladder victories on UMK3 and have a few hundred ranked match victories for that same game on xbox live arcade version of the title. and i enjoy the series.

Whats uploading now is my failed tutorial mode footage... and completed ladder mode with every character. Up next i am going to tackle the tag ladder mode with cyrax/sektor, story mode, some challenge ladder and some krpyt(havent been to it yet have over 100k koins), and then i will finish it off in my mouth with some multiplayer if there is even still anyone playing on ps3.

all 160 vids uploaded. MP was a clusterfuck. now i fully admit i am not a great mk player but not sure if it was the ps3 or what but this was some of the worst online gameplay ive ever experienced. massive amounts of dropped inputs, buttons doing the wrong things, lag, slow motion gameplay(on my character but not the other person). inconsistencies as far as range of attacks like leg sweeps outside sweep range, attacks of mine getting overpowered at random, attacks not hitting consistently. man oh man what a letdown. dc universe played way better online on ps3 for me. major letdown i might revisit mk9 in the future when i can borrow a friend's copy on 360 for comparison's sake.

for troubleshooting i tried other ps3 titles, different controllers corded and wireless, i use an ethernet cable to reduce latency already. the ethernet cable has been tested. my internet is sufficient. router is great. modem is working correctly.

Youtube problems appear to be mostly fixed. some minor video crappage on a couple vids. nothing major though.

Youtube is having some major problems!

ok the uploading problems are for sure youtube's fault now. not only is audio out of sync on the last couple batches of vids i uploaded(not my fault source files were perfect) but HD videos are not being processed in HD. looks like 480p is max right now. which shouldnt be terrible if the source vids are good quality. i uploaded a 4000kbps vbr 720p file and it looked totally fine in 480p. but i removed it because the audio was totally out of sync. also my upload speeds are very erratic when uploading vids. other sites and home network tests are still normal. but speeds are sucking major ass when uploading to youtube.

until such time that these problems are fixed i will not be uploading any videos. yeah i know huge loss... ill check things out next week or so and see if they get any better.

UPDATE: ok the issues youtube has been having appear to be related to site "upgrades" the playlist view in my videos section on my channel is laid out different and has more options. i actually think its cool. ill hold off from uploads for another week and see how things pan out though. no sense uploading content if its gonna be crapified.

update: vice city disc i got for ps2 has a bad sector and will not run reliably. my gta fest will be put on hold til i can get a replacement in roughly a few months. san andreas, liberty city/vice city stories work though. but i was mostly looking forward to vice city and dont feel like playing san andreas at this point in time. and i have never played the stories games and would like to do the games in release order.

Got a capture card!

i recently purchased a capture card so i can do some console game footage with great quality.
i bought an Avermedia Game Broadcaster HD C127. i love it.

pros-simple instalation, cheap at 140$ with free shipping, fantastic quality, you can even record the footage from another computer using either the hdmi or vga ports on the card. even the bios/post screens during startup, the included software is both easy to use and feature packed(can auto split at desired times or file sizes) if you have a decently powerful system you can record straight to h.264 mp4 codec. i however use bandicam to do my recordings because i like how that works.

cons-horrible HDCP copy protection causes issues with the ps3 when using HDMI. but a 10$ component cable fixes that issue. And that is pretty much it! this isnt a fault of the card but the ps3.

i already uploaded some gears of war 3 and mortal kombat vs dc universe(ps3) footage checkout my channle for those. just a note the MK footage had a minor audio delay because i was using an HDMI cable on the ps3. i have a component cable coming to fix that though. damn HDCP you suck.

Also another note. when i capture footage both pc and consoles i play in 1080p but with bandicam i have the option to resize the capture in real time to 720p for smaller files. I then use Handbrake to encode the .avi files to h.264 mp4 file format to compress the file down to a manageable level for upload. If i need to edit something out of the footage i use windows movie maker and that outputs a .wmv file with slightly less efficient compression but comparable quality. The end result is a 1080p video with 720p file sizes. But i also use some pretty hefty compression so quality whores out there dont worry the Game Broadcaster HD can actually output even better looking files. (yes even better than the Hauppauge HD PVR standalone capture device).

I purchased the product from newegg.com but it also available in large supply at amazon.com.
