ok the uploading problems are for sure youtube's fault now. not only is audio out of sync on the last couple batches of vids i uploaded(not my fault source files were perfect) but HD videos are not being processed in HD. looks like 480p is max right now. which shouldnt be terrible if the source vids are good quality. i uploaded a 4000kbps vbr 720p file and it looked totally fine in 480p. but i removed it because the audio was totally out of sync. also my upload speeds are very erratic when uploading vids. other sites and home network tests are still normal. but speeds are sucking major ass when uploading to youtube.
until such time that these problems are fixed i will not be uploading any videos. yeah i know huge loss... ill check things out next week or so and see if they get any better.
UPDATE: ok the issues youtube has been having appear to be related to site "upgrades" the playlist view in my videos section on my channel is laid out different and has more options. i actually think its cool. ill hold off from uploads for another week and see how things pan out though. no sense uploading content if its gonna be crapified.
